| Back at the Complex Weavers Seminar in 2008, my good friend Amy asked me if I would be interested in doing the streamer for the Complex Weavers Awards for next year. I was very honored that she would think my weaving good enough for such a regal purpose. I then promptly forgot about it. Then around March she reminded me that I had made this obligation which I had completely forgotten, and they were needed by June. Very bad of me. Now March to June sounds like plenty of time until you consider that I had no clue about a pattern, the loom I was going to use had a project on it that I had just begun, and I had no idea about materials. So after settling on an Egyption Diagonal pattern, and sampling several times with different materials, I finally settled on this, and finished it just in time.
