One of my ambitious students discovered a small error in the Kivrim booklet. The online version has been updated, so if you’ve purchased that recently, you can download the updated version now.
The errata is for page 28, pattern 5a. The turning instructions for that pattern should look like this…
Of note, the special turning cards as listed in the incorrect pattern are 21-22, but they should be 20-21. Thank you to Beth for finding this for me.
Hi All! I moved my shop from Square to Shopify recently. This means easier digital downloads, and international sales! I’m very excited about the new shop. So check it out!
I finally finished a new booklet. The samples have been finished for over a year, but now it is finally compiled into a book.
Kivrim! Ram’s Horn and other Turkish inspired designs. Just added to the online shop, so check it out if you wish.
I’m back home for a short bit. Just wanted to let you know the store is open again, and looms are available for purchase. Please note however that when I travel shipping may be delayed. No shipping elves at home. You can view my calendar on this website.
Thanks!
I’m on the last leg of my first multi-trip run! I have to admit it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. The shipped items got where they were supposed to. My hosts have been wonderful!
I started at one of my favorite events – Madrona!
Then I taught at Stitches West for the first time. Very different from Stitches Midwest, but wonderful like all of the Stitches events.
I’m finishing on Whidbey Island. A three day workshop for their weaving guild. I’ll see you soon!
I’m taking a two week holiday. Tell you all about it when I get back. The store is closed until I return on 5/8, but you can still browse the products, and the ebooks are still available.
See you in May!
I just returned from Madrona. I love this event. Well run, fabulous students, great locale (Tacoma WA at the Murano).
I had Anne Berk of Intarsia Knitting renown (Annetarsia.com) as a student. I always get nervous when a teacher is in my class.
She took some shots of me doing my thing.
And then she was nice enough to write this about her experience…
Anne’s Blog – Let’s be a beginner again
Thanks Anne!
